Our Hard Floor Cleaning Process
1. Floor Type Identification and Test
Different floors need different chemistry — so we identify the type first (ceramic vs porcelain vs natural stone, LVT vs laminate vs engineered wood) and test our solution on a small hidden area before going further.
2. Dry Debris Removal
Commercial vacuum to lift all loose dirt, dust and grit. Grit in particular matters — if you scrub over it, it scratches the surface. This stage is not optional.
3. Pre-Treatment
Floor-specific cleaning solution applied, given time to break down embedded soiling. For grout lines, we work the solution in with a grout brush before extraction.
4. Rotary Scrub or High-Pressure Extraction
For tile and grout: rotary scrubbing pulls out embedded dirt, then high-pressure extraction rinses it clean. For laminate, LVT and wood: lower-moisture methods that clean without over-wetting. For stone: technique matched to whether it's sealed, honed, polished or rough.
5. Neutralising Rinse and Dry
Clean water rinse removes all solution residue — nothing left behind to haze or trap dirt. Airflow to accelerate drying. Floor usable within 30-60 minutes.
6. Optional Sealing
If you want your grout sealed, or your stone floor re-sealed, we apply the sealer after the floor is fully dry. Protects your investment and keeps the floor looking good longer.
